Material Handler / Forklift Operator

Seeking a dependable Material Handler / Forklift Operator to join a global leader in climate control product distribution, where your versatility will support efficient warehouse operations. This position involves handling materials through both manual and powered equipment methods. You will be responsible for receiving, inspecting, packing, and routing products while maintaining accurate records and supporting shipping and receiving functions. Job Details PAY RATE: 20.00 hour HOURS: 7:30am to 4:30pm M-F LOCATION: Austin, TX 78728 BENEFITS: Yes Responsibilities Perform manual and clerical duties related to shipment and receipt of materials, supplies, equipment, and finished products under general supervision. Operate sit down and/or stand up forklifts and hydraulic jack lifts to move materials safely. Receive goods, verify items against shipment records, and inspect condition. Gather, verify, and pack items for shipment according to specifications and transportation methods. Record received and shipped items following established procedures. Route materials, supplies, and equipment to inspection or stock areas. Complete written and computerized documentation accurately. Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Forklift experience required. Drug test and background check required. Ability to operate powered equipment such as forklifts or hydraulic jack lifts. Basic reading, writing, and numerical skills. Effective verbal communication skills. Able to lift up to 50 pounds. Valid driver's license with good driving record may be required. Preferred Qualifications Forklift certification preferred. Work Environment Work hours are 7:30am to 4:30pm Monday through Friday. Position located in Austin, TX 78728. Benefits available.
