Role Description Supply Chain’s vision is to enable customer and mission success through supply chain strategies and execution that deliver superior operational program performance and create competitive advantage through continuous improvement. It is our mission to deliver affordable supply chain solutions that meet all program requirements and manage supply chain risks to ensure positive supplier performance through all phases of the program life‑cycle from capture to sustainment. Key Responsibilities Delivery and procurement support for major Connectivity, Transport, and Access Systems Managing development and sustainment contracts Scheduling activities with the supplier Helping develop subcontract specifications and requirements, such as statements of works, negotiating and enforcing terms and conditions Preparing bid packages Evaluating subcontractor proposals Negotiating subcontracts Issuing properly authorized awards/subcontracts and participating in contract negotiations Work closely with all functional areas in order to support multiple suppliers in the evaluation, source solicitation, negotiations, contract preparation and administration Conducting cost analysis support, understanding procurement activity under the guidance of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FARs) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFARS) Travel possible between 10 to 20% of the time, depending on lifecycle of current contracts Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education U.S. Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a U.S. SECRET clearance, to support a government contract, and successfully pass a drug and background check No clearance is required to apply but an Interim clearance is needed prior to start. For states not referenced above, the salary range will reflect the candidate’s final work location. For major metropolitan areas in those states, the range is $54,100 - $93,725. Salary information is a general guideline only. This position is incentive plan eligible. Other Employment Information Onsite Full‑time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work schedules may include standard 40 hours over a five‑day work week or condensed schedules providing additional flexibility. Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off. Shift: First.
