Description

You’ll help provide a great customer experience by preparing quality food, maintaining a clean and safe workspace, and working closely with the team to keep daily operations running smoothly.

Shift: Monday - Friday 6 AM to 2 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare food according to company recipes, menus, portion standards, and prep lists.

• Demonstrate basic knife skills and food production techniques.

• Follow proper food handling, sanitation, labeling, temperature, and FIFO practices.

• Keep your station clean, organized, and well-stocked.

• Manage time effectively and work independently while staying on schedule.

• Provide friendly, engaging customer service and anticipate customer needs.

• Communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and leadership.

• Suggestively sell appropriate add-ons and products.

• Support the team and jump in where needed.

• Follow direction, adapt to changing priorities, and learn new skills.

• Maintain a positive attitude and consistent quality and productivity.

• Complete additional duties and assignments as needed.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• 1+ years of previous cooking experience preferred.

• Working knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and safety.

• Ability to safely operate kitchen equipment and demonstrate proper knife skills.

• Knowledge of cooking techniques including braising, sautéing, searing, and grilling.

• Ability to accurately measure ingredients and convert recipes as needed.

• ServSafe and Allergen Certification preferred.

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, and weekends.

• Culinary education in progress or completed preferred.
