Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Experience as a paraprofessional, educational aide, or similar school-based support role
• Familiarity with classroom settings, preferably within elementary or secondary education
• Ability to build positive, respectful relationships with students, teachers, and colleagues
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with staff and engaging with students
• Adaptability and patience in dynamic, fast-paced classroom environments
• High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant certifications or additional coursework in education are preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist lead teachers in delivering daily lessons, activities, and individualized instruction
• Support students with diverse academic needs, including those with learning differences or behavioral challenges
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and encouraging classroom atmosphere
• Help with classroom organization, preparation of materials, and supervision during assignments or transitions
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers on challenges or milestones
• Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, or professional development as needed
