Job Description Industry: Healthcare / Health Services – Other Job Category: Medical / Health – Allied We are seeking an experienced Sr. Interventional Radiological Technologist at UCSF Health to support both Body and Neuro IR on our SF Parnassus campus. The role requires availability Monday to Friday, with call duties (50% pay) on weekdays, evenings, and weekends. Responsibilities Demonstrate competency and serve in a lead/coordinator capacity. Participate actively in an annual performance improvement project and in IR quality assurance/radiation safety meetings. Demonstrate competency and the ability to instruct one or more advanced procedures. Required Qualifications Minimum 3‑6 years of IR experience. Minimum 3‑5 years of experience in a healthcare environment. Graduate of a formal radiology technology‑training program from an AMA‑approved school. Flexibility to rotate shifts and cover weekends and holidays. Willingness to assist at any UCSF Medical Center location. Willingness to learn and train in Neuro‑IR and Body‑IR. Willingness to circulate and fill scrubbing roles during procedures as necessary. Ability to set work up and schedule independently. Required Licenses / Certifications ARRT Licensure CRT Licensure BLS (CPR) Certification VIR Certification within 1 year of hire Preferred Qualifications Recent work experience in an acute care setting. VIR Certification or obtained within 1 year of hire. Ability to work 8‑hour shifts Monday–Friday, variable shift including weekends, and take call. Parking is available when taking call. Call pay is 50%.
