Locum MD (Medical Doctor), DO (Osteopathic Doctor) Gastroenterology

In this role, you will play a vital part in diagnosing and treating gastrointestinal disorders, contributing significantly to enhancing patient outcomes. Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations
• Diagnose and treat gastrointestinal diseases and conditions
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Perform endoscopic procedures as required
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care
• Educate patients and families on managing gastrointestinal health
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Participate in medical education and staff training initiatives

Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
• Active medical license in the state of Kansas
• Board certification in Gastroenterology preferred
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of gastrointestinal disorders
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
• Commitment to patient-centered care and quality improvement
• 1-3 years of experience in a clinical setting preferred
• Level II Trauma Center

Schedule: 24-hour shifts, specific dates

Shifts available at multiple hospitals

Daily Volume: 25 patients

EUS & ERCP experience needed

EMR: Meditech

Must be board-certified
