We're looking for a relationship-driven Assisted Living Sales Director who thrives in consultative sales and enjoys helping families navigate one of life's most important decisions. In this role, you'll guide prospective residents and their loved ones through a longer sales journey, build meaningful referral partnerships, manage a healthy sales pipeline, and drive occupancy growth within our assisted living and memory care community. This is not a transactional sales role. Success comes from building trust, providing thoughtful guidance, maintaining consistent follow-up, and helping families confidently navigate a longer consultative sales process.

Responsibilities

• Manage a consultative sales process from initial inquiry through move-in.
• Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline through consistent lead follow-up and CRM management.
• Develop referral relationships with healthcare professionals, hospitals, rehabilitation centers, and community organizations.
• Conduct personalized tours and discovery conversations with prospective residents and families.
• Guide families through a longer decision-making process with empathy, education, and exceptional communication.
• Meet occupancy growth and census goals through proactive outreach and relationship development.
• Track sales activity, referrals, follow-up, and closing performance using CRM software.
• Represent New Perspective at networking events and community outreach opportunities.

Desired Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of prior leasing or sales experience (assisted living experience preferred).
• Proficient in written and verbal English.
• Exceptional communication, active listening, and empathy when working with older adults and their families.
• Experience with consultative, relationship-based sales involving a longer sales cycle is strongly preferred.
• Interest in working with the older adult population.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, and the ability to learn CRM and sales database software.
• Ability to travel locally to fulfill job responsibilities.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including occasional evenings and weekends.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, communications, marketing, or related field.
• More than 3 years of sales experience in assisted living.
• Experience with consultative, relationship-based ("people") sales.

Salary

• $55,000-$60,000 Base salary, depending on experience and qualifications. This role is also eligible for a lucrative bonus plan.
