SLP / Speech Language Pathologist
Enhance Communication Across Generations in the Dynamic Bay Area Join Us as a Speech Language Pathologist
Imagine a career path that not only provides purpose but enables you to give voice to those who need it most. As a Speech Language Pathologist in one of the most vibrant metropolitan areas of California, your vital work transcends traditional therapy; you will play an essential role in restoring confidence and fostering connections. From guiding young children as they speak their first sentences to assisting older adults in reclaiming their independence, your expertise will make a profound impact.
This position presents a remarkable opportunity to work with individuals of all ages in a setting that seamlessly integrates outpatient therapy with occasional inpatient care. Whether you have a passion for pediatric language acquisition, adult neurogenic communication disorders, or geriatric cognitive-linguistic rehabilitation, you'll find personal satisfaction and professional flexibility here.
Conduct assessments of patients spanning pediatric, adult, and geriatric demographics through standardized tests and personalized observations.
Design customized treatment strategies that align with both immediate and enduring communication, cognitive, or swallowing objectives.
Deliver individualized speech therapy sessions targeting communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing.
Engage collaboratively with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, families, and caregivers to develop cohesive care strategies.
Provide education to patients and their families to foster continued progress outside of therapy sessions.
Perform occasional inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions to ensure seamless care across the treatment continuum.
Maintain precise and timely documentation in adherence to state, federal, and institutional regulations.
Stay abreast of developments in the field through ongoing education and collaboration with peers.
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet certified by ASHA.
State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of employment.
Expertise in evidence-based treatment techniques for all ages, with a firm grasp of developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
Exceptional communication skills for fostering relationships with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
Adaptability in therapy methods to meet the varied cultural and linguistic needs of patients.
Strong clinical judgment paired with effective problem-solving skills.
Comfortable navigating electronic medical records and documentation protocols.
Attractive salary and compensation packages in line with experience.
Flexible working hours to maintain a healthy work-life balance while handling diverse caseloads.
Opportunities for specialization in pediatrics, adult neuro rehabilitation, or geriatrics.
Paid time off (PTO) alongside holiday compensation.
Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and life insurance coverage.
Support for continued education and professional development.
A collaborative environment that prioritizes quality care and perpetual learning.
In your new role, you won't simply provide therapy; you will integrate yourself into a community-first mission dedicated to reviving voices, strengthening communication, and creating joyful moments through the fundamental human experiences of understanding and being understood.
You'll collaborate with fellow clinicians who view each other as part of a supportive family, within a workplace that champions cooperation over rivalry. Every patient carries a unique narrative; we trust you to help refine it.
Experience the pulsating rhythm of life in the Bay Area where innovation dances with the warmth of golden state hospitality. This iconic region, known for its scenic vistas and diverse culture, invites those seeking to balance outdoor adventures, cultural engagements, and professional growth.
Family-friendly atmospheres flourish in neighborhood parks where people gather for splendid music and picnics, while outdoor enthusiasts enjoy hiking in the majestic redwood forests or sailing across San Francisco Bay. Culinary aficionados can indulge in a vibrant food scene ranging from organic food trucks to Michelin-starred restaurants crafting innovative dishes.
The area's artistic spirit thrives in vibrant murals, intimate music venues, and lively festivals bringing together diverse communities. Beyond lifestyle benefits, there are economic perks such as no state income tax, a diverse job market, and a blossoming healthcare sector establishing the Bay Area as a premier destination for thriving careers.

We're on the lookout for a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist fueled by both results and compassion. Our ideal candidate perceives every quiet child as a world waiting to be expressed, and hears in a stroke survivor's slurred speech a story of resilience.
You might be a specialist in pediatrics aiming to broaden your expertise in adult services or a clinician focusing on neuro rehabilitation eager to integrate pediatric care into your practice.
If this resonates with you, and you're ready to serve with heart and lead with innovation, we would be thrilled to have you on board.
Join a community that cherishes communication, connection, and the bravery needed to start anew. Apply now to lend your voice to our team and empower others to find theirs.
