Accounting Assistant

Accounting Assistant Location: United States - North Carolina - Charlotte Schedule: Full-time Responsibilities Enter and process vendor invoices accurately and timely within the accounting system. Verify invoice details, coding, approvals, and supporting documentation prior to processing. Assist with vendor inquiries and resolve invoice discrepancies. Create and submit purchase requisitions in accordance with company policies and procedures. Monitor requisition status and coordinate with procurement teams to ensure timely processing. Complete work confirmations for services performed. Ensure work confirmations accurately match contract terms, purchase orders, and vendor documentation. Reconcile Procurement Card (PCard) transactions to receipts and supporting documentation. Review transactions for policy compliance and proper accounting classification. Follow up with staff to obtain missing receipts and resolve discrepancies. Assist project accountants with the preparation and organization of client invoice documentation. Maintain accurate and organized project accounting files. Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.
