Senior HR Coordinator

Who We Are and What We are Doing: Ethena Labs is actively building and deploying a suite of groundbreaking digital dollar products aiming to upgrade money into the internet era. Our flagship product, USDe, is a synthetic dollar backed by digital assets, and takes the novel approach of using a delta-neutral hedged basis strategy to maintain its peg. This product scaled from zero to $15b in 18 months. Expanding on this, iUSDe is designed specifically for traditional financial institutions, incorporating necessary compliance features to enable them to access the crypto-native rewards our protocol generates, in an institutional-friendly manner. Ethena has also developed USDtb: a fiat backed GENIUS compliant stablecoin in partnership with BlackRock which has scaled to ~$2b. These products are also offered in a whitelabel stablecoin offering where any application, chain, wallet or exchange can launch their own stablecoin on Ethena's back-end infrastructure. Through these offerings, Ethena Labs is not just creating new financial products; we are building the foundational infrastructure for a more open, efficient, and interconnected global financial system. Open job offerings will be focused on two new major product lines coming to market in the next few months. Join us!! The Role Ethena is one of the most impressive groups in Crypto. They are seeking a high agency People/HR Coordinator to serve as the central operational engine of our People team. The team currently stands at 40+. We will steadily grow over the next few years. At Ethena we look for owners. Whether you are junior or senior, we expect you to thrive under the pressure of responsibility and possess a relentless desire to improve yourself and the functions. This role is designed for a professional who views HR through a lens of innovation and operational excellence. Your mission is to ensure a seamless employee lifecycle while maintaining the absolute integrity of our HR data, compliance, and internal support systems. Reporting directly to the Head of People & Talent, you will manage the technical and administrative verification layer of our people operations. You will be expected to operate with independence, treating the employee experience as your personal responsibility and proactively surfacing risks or inefficiencies before they become issues. We value a "security-first" approach to data and a "customer service" mindset toward our team. What You’ll Do Be Ethena’s HR Oracle! Execute end-to-end onboarding for all new hires, ensuring 100% of equipment, accounts, background checks, and documentation are completed before day one. Manage the tracking of all HR reviews, probation, bi-annual performance. Track career progression, compensation reviews etc. Build and maintain a comprehensive "HR Operations Playbook" that documents every recurring SOP, from leave-of-absence tracking to termination checklists. Own the HRIS (we use Deel) as the canonical source of truth. Conduct full audits to ensure 100% accuracy of employee records, compensation data, and org charts with a regular validation cadence. Manage day-to-day enrollment and termination any and all team benefit plans, responding to all employee inquiries within a timely manner. Partner with Talent Acquisition to collate information for scorecards & JDs, manage complex interview scheduling, and facilitate the transition from offer letter to onboarding. Generate quarterly reports on headcount, turnover, and time off to provide leadership with actionable data. What We’re Looking For 2+ years experience in a lean HR function for a small to medium size organisation. Obsessive attention to detail, ensuring everything is error‑free even in a high output environment. High fluency in HRIS, Performance Management and ATS tooling (Deel, BambooHR, Greenhouse, Lever, Leapsom, PERK) with the ability to automate repetitive tasks and pull custom reports. A proven track record of identifying friction in the employee lifecycle and proposing innovative fixes without being asked. Ability to translate complex policies into simple language while handling sensitive health and disciplinary data with absolute confidentiality. Functional literacy in employment laws somewhere (we’re global, so you can’t know it all, but a foundation in at least a single region) and the ability to identify legal risks for escalation. Experience remaining effective during rapid organisational changes and the ability to balance long-term projects against daily HR support. $40,000 - $60,000 a year Why Ethena Labs?
