We are seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our small, dedicated surgical center team. This full-time role involves supporting surgical procedures, monitoring anesthesia, and providing comprehensive patient care throughout the perioperative process. The ideal candidate will be a licensed technician with strong teamwork skills and experience in surgery and anesthesia, reporting directly to the veterinarian and utilizing veterinary and medical software.

Responsibilities

• Assist with surgical procedures and monitor anesthesia
• Prepare patients and provide recovery care
• Prepare and maintain surgical instruments and suites
• Perform radiographs and in-house laboratory testing
• Maintain accurate medical records
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members
• Collaborate closely within a small team of 1-5 staff

Required Qualifications

• Current Licensed Veterinary Technician

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in surgical assisting and anesthesia monitoring
• Strong patient care skills
• Proficient in medical record keeping and instrument preparation
• Excellent teamwork and communication abilities
• Attention to detail
