Genesis10 is currently seeking a Business Analyst for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Jersey City, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

This role involves preparing deep analysis of data and determining the best way to represent it visually to managers and stakeholders. The successful candidate will develop and implement data analysis systems, conduct full lifecycle analysis, and manage project risks to achieve business solutions within a financial services environment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare deep analysis of data and then determine the best way to represent it visually to managers and stakeholders
• Develop and implement data analysis, data collection systems, and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
• Ensure quality assurance and proper process documentation
• Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques
• Conducting full lifecycle analysis to include requirements, activities, and design
• Prepare materials to present to stakeholders or technology, both visually and in textual form
• Manage project risk
• Proactively identify and engage key project stakeholders/partners to avoid unanticipated issues and gaps during project execution
• Proactive status reporting and key issues
• Weekly and monthly reporting on project details and status to various stakeholders, partners, PMO, tech execs, etc
• Effectively directs internal and external resources to achieve business solutions within project guidelines

Requirements:

• 7 years of experience in financial services
• Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle and Agile methodology
• The ability to effectively communicate with both the business and technology
• The ability to communicate within a multi-disciplined team, across multiple locations and time zones, and to interact with demanding business users
• A flexible, hardworking, and "can do" attitude; comfortable working in a fast paced environment with frequent release cycles and rapidly changing priorities
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are required
• Ability to handle pressure/conflict

Pay range: $60.42 - $68.42 per hour
