Speech Language Pathologist | Inpatient Therapies

Join our team in order to prevent, assess, alleviate or correct communication, swallowing or other speech related disorders. Responsible for evaluating patient needs, conducting diagnostic tests/procedures, establishing treatment plans and providing treatments/services accordingly. Responsible for independent therapist functions and delegated therapies which may be performed in collaboration with other health care team members or may be delegated by the therapist to the patient or other informal care givers who reside with the patient. In cooperation with other health professionals, the SLP will develop and implement specialized treatment programs as appropriate to meet patient needs. Schedule: Full-time | Option of 64, 72, or 80 hours every two weeks | Onsite Monday- Friday | Every 5th weekend and rotating holidays | 8am-4:30pm Pay and Benefits: Starting pay begins at $81,037.49 per year and increases with experience Salary range: $77,563.20- $116,334.40 per year Salary range is based on a 1.0 FTE, reduced FTE will result in a prorated offer rate Up to $20,000.00 in hiring incentives! This position qualifies for student loan repayment program of up to $15,000, or a hiring bonus of up to $10,000, plus $5,000 in relocation assistance for eligible candidates. Qualifications: Master's Degree in Communication Disorders from an accredited university required. Basic Life Support (BLS) Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider card per established policy required. Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Current State of Minnesota Registration (to include a CFY Temporary License from the State of Minnesota required. Certificate of Clinical Competencies (CCCs) from ASHA or certification upon completion of Clinical Fellowship Year required. To be eligible for the hiring bonus or student loan repayment you must be an external candidate who is hired into an eligible full-time or part-time benefited position. Previous CentraCare employees qualify if they have not worked for CentraCare for at least 9 months at the date of hire. Relocation assistance requirements: Must accept a position that offers benefits and may not have worked for CentraCare in the last 9 months.
