Role Overview This position involves providing Role Overview This position involves providing direct and indirect hospice care to patients of all ages within the service area, under the supervision of a Clinical Supervisor and following physician orders. The nurse manages a caseload of hospice patients, coordinating care with the healthcare team to promote patient comfort and support a peaceful death. Travel is required to see patients in Jackson and Josephine counties. Key Responsibilities Delivering holistic, patient-centered care aligned with the nursing process and Nurse Practice Act Collaborating with team members to ensure quality care and patient comfort Managing patient caseloads and coordinating care activities Accepting ongoing professional development in nursing practices Qualifications & Skills Oregon Registered Nurse License and BLS certification At least 1 year of medical/surgical, acute, or long-term care experience Experience in end-of-life (EOL) care preferred Strong communication, collaboration, and patient advocacy skills Preferred Experience: Recent oncology, home hospice, or home health experience. #J-18808-Ljbffr Massachusetts Health & Hospital Association
