Copywriter

We are looking for a Copywriter to support a retail health and wellness brand through a contract assignment. This role focuses on turning scientific and product-specific information into clear, reader-friendly content for both shoppers and internal marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate brings a strong command of long-form editorial writing and product messaging, along with the ability to simplify technical details without losing accuracy.Responsibilities:• Create compelling copy for product detail pages, packaging, labels, and other consumer-facing materials tied to health and wellness offerings.• Produce feature-style articles for a quarterly publication covering topics such as supplements, nutrition, fitness, and overall well-being.• Convert technical, scientific, and product information into clear messaging that resonates with a broad consumer audience.• Partner with purchasing stakeholders to gather product insights, selling points, and supporting details needed for accurate content development.• Work closely with formulation and subject-matter experts to ensure claims, descriptions, and educational materials reflect technical accuracy.• Collaborate with editorial partners and fellow writers to shape content themes, refine messaging, and maintain a consistent brand voice.• Conduct research and interviews to collect background information that strengthens article quality and product storytelling. Hourly rate: $28.5–$33
