Director, Strategic Programs & Transformation

Role Description
As Director of Strategic Programs & Transformation, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of the Diagnostics business. You will lead enterprise-wide transformation initiatives that improve operational performance, optimize business processes, and drive strategic growth across a global organization.
- Lead projects from planning to implementation, including:
- Process optimization
- Reorganization
- Portfolio and footprint rationalization
- Establishment of new operating models
- Work globally across business lines and functions to find optimal solutions for the Diagnostics Business Area and Siemens Healthineers.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior Diagnostics leaders, influencing strategic decisions.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to identify improvement opportunities and develop project roadmaps.
- Blend strategic mindset with practical project management skills to translate high-level business goals into concrete projects.
- Find creative solutions to complex problems, ensuring successful project outcomes.
- Report to the Head of the Project Management Office and interface with the Diagnostics Management.
Qualifications
- Proven project management skills, preferably in large scale improvement and transformation projects.
- Ability to lead high-complexity projects and create impact in a global matrix organization.
- Result-oriented with a passion for cross-functional teamwork.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to drive change across various hierarchy levels.
- Excellent analytics, conceptual, and creative problem-solving skills combined with a “getting things done” mindset.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and an MBA or other advanced science/engineering degree.
- 10+ years of professional experience, including significant experience leading enterprise transformation, business optimization, strategy, or operational excellence initiatives.
- Project Management and Continuous Improvement certificates preferred (e.g., PMP, LEAN Six Sigma).
- Willingness to travel up to 10%.
