Responsibilities

Identify and engage with new prospective clients throughout the Torrington area to expand our local footprint.

Evaluate the specific insurance needs of individuals and businesses to provide accurate, helpful coverage recommendations.

Prepare and deliver competitive quotes that offer real value and protection to our policyholders.

Nurture existing client accounts by conducting regular check-ins and reviewing coverage as life circumstances change.

Maintain thorough documentation within our database to ensure every client interaction is tracked and managed effectively.

Collaborate with the broader agency team to share market insights and improve our collective outreach efforts.

Requirements

Active Property & Casualty Insurance License for Connecticut.

Three or more years of experience in direct insurance sales.

Deep understanding of personal and commercial lines coverage.

Strong comfort level with digital policy management systems and office productivity software.

Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex policy details simply.

Demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Familiarity with the Torrington community and local business landscape.
