Enjoy comprehensive benefits, including healthcare, retirement plans, and exclusive discounts.Job DescriptionTechnical Accounting Manager OverviewThe Technical Accounting Manager is a senior-level role focused on technical accounting research and application.Provide expertise in US GAAP and IFRS standards, ensuring compliance and accurate financial reporting.Collaborate with executive leadership, external auditors, and cross-functional teams on complex accounting matters.Author technical white papers and accounting policy memos to support audit defense and financial decision-making.Evaluate and document differences between US GAAP and IFRS for dual reporting requirements.Develop and maintain the organization's accounting policy manual with precision and clarity.Train and develop finance team members on technical accounting topics and new standards.This newly created role offers opportunities to shape accounting practices and policies.Enjoy comprehensive benefits, including healthcare, retirement plans, and exclusive discounts.Technical Accounting Manager Key Responsibilities & DutiesConduct research on complex accounting transactions under US GAAP and IFRS standards.Monitor and analyze new accounting standards issued by regulatory bodies.Prepare comprehensive technical accounting white papers and position memos.Advise on accounting implications of transactions, contracts, and regulatory changes.Collaborate with external auditors to defend technical accounting positions.Draft footnote disclosures for financial statements under applicable standards.Partner with cross-functional teams to assess financial reporting impacts of decisions.Train finance team members on technical accounting topics and policy updates.Support audit defense with authoritative literature and well-reasoned analysis.Technical Accounting Manager Job RequirementsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Master's degree preferred.Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license required.6–10 years of progressive accounting experience, including technical accounting research.Public accounting experience; 3+ years in technical advisory or assurance roles preferred.Expertise in US GAAP and IFRS standards; dual-framework reporting experience preferred.Proven ability to author technical memos and white papers for audit review.Strong collaboration skills with executive leadership and cross-functional teams.Experience in capital-intensive or multi-entity environments is a plus.Comprehensive benefits include healthcare plans, retirement options, and exclusive discounts.
