Legal Assistant/Paralegal Virtual Support Position

The Paralegal II provides advanced legal and administrative support to the corporate legal department, with a strong focus on

contracts, corporate governance, compliance, litigation management and regulatory matters

. The Paralegal II will assist attorneys with contract drafting and review, compliance programs, entity management, litigation management and other corporate legal functions, while mentoring junior paralegals and contributing to process improvements within the legal team.

Draft, review, and negotiate routine contracts (e.g., NDAs, vendor agreements, service agreements) under attorney supervision. Maintain contract management systems, track key terms, and ensure compliance with contract obligations. Assist in implementing and improving contract workflows and playbooks. Support entity management, including preparation and filing of corporate documents. Compliance & Regulatory Support Assist with compliance monitoring programs, including data privacy and industry-specific regulations. Research and track new laws and regulations that impact the business. Prepare compliance training materials. Serve as a liaison between the legal team and internal departments such as Procurement, HR, Finance, Operations, Marketing and IT. Provide clear and timely guidance to business partners on legal processes and requirements. Litigation & Risk Management Support management of claims and litigation matters, including vicarious liability claims, fact gathering, discovery, and document management. Coordinate with insurers and assist with incident reporting and compliance documentation.

Business-oriented mindset with the ability to balance legal risk and operational needs. Proficiency with contract lifecycle management (CLM) tools and document management systems. Strong legal research and writing skills. Excellent organizational, project management, and communication abilities. Ability to manage multiple projects independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Bachelor’s degree in legal studies, business, or related field preferred. ~ 8+ years of paralegal experience

, with at least 3 years supporting a corporate in-house legal team. ~ Demonstrated experience with contract management, corporate governance, or compliance.

Occasional travel (less than 10%) is expected for this position to visit with client.
