All Open Roles Vault Expansion Lead New York, NY, USA Full-time Operations Salary range: $85,000–$120,000 + equity. About This Role BAXUS operates secure, climate-controlled vaults where collectors store bottles worth anywhere from $100 to $100,000+. As volume grows and we expand into new geographies, we need someone to own the physical infrastructure that makes it all work. You will lead the expansion and operations of our vault network. This is a hands-on logistics and operations role with a strategic dimension: you are building the physical layer of a financial platform. What You'll Do Manage day-to-day vault operations (intake, inventory, fulfillment, quality control) Lead the buildout and launch of new vault locations as we expand geographically Develop and enforce SOPs for bottle authentication, condition grading, 360-degree scanning, and secure storage Manage relationships with logistics partners, insurance providers, and facility vendors Implement inventory tracking systems and ensure real-time accuracy between physical stock and platform records Hire and manage vault operations staff as the team scales What We're Looking For Must Have 5+ years in operations, logistics, or warehouse management, ideally with high-value or authenticated goods Experience scaling physical operations (new facilities, new markets, new processes) Detail-obsessed — you are managing assets worth millions in aggregate Familiarity with insurance, chain-of-custody, and compliance requirements for physical goods Based in or willing to relocate to the NY/NJ metro area (this role requires on-site presence) Strong to Have Experience in wine/spirits storage, art handling, luxury logistics, or similar Why Join BAXUS BAXUS at its core is about bringing transparency, technology, access, and liquidity to the global spirits industry, from distiller to retailer to consumer and back.
