Shipping Coordinator
We are looking for a Shipping Coordinator in Berwick, LA to organize, accept, and prepare incoming and outgoing shipments for our client in the oil services industry. Hours are 7 AM to 4 PM and it is a 6 month contract-to-hire opportunity.
Responsibilities
- Work directly with Shipping team to organize, accept, and prepare incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Work with internal customers to maintain production flow.
- Transport material to designated location.
- Perform various materials functions within SAP
- Ensures proper documentation on all shipments.
- Assist in crating/uncrating when necessary.
- Perform all tasks in the safest manner possible to ensure that there is no damage to the equipment or personnel
- Follow all HSE and Quality processes.
- Performs other related duties as required and assigned
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 2+ years of relevant experience
- SAP experience is preferred
