Shipping Coordinator

Shipping Coordinator

We are looking for a Shipping Coordinator in Berwick, LA to organize, accept, and prepare incoming and outgoing shipments for our client in the oil services industry. Hours are 7 AM to 4 PM and it is a 6 month contract-to-hire opportunity.

Responsibilities
  • Work directly with Shipping team to organize, accept, and prepare incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Work with internal customers to maintain production flow.
  • Transport material to designated location.
  • Perform various materials functions within SAP
  • Ensures proper documentation on all shipments.
  • Assist in crating/uncrating when necessary.
  • Perform all tasks in the safest manner possible to ensure that there is no damage to the equipment or personnel
  • Follow all HSE and Quality processes.
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 2+ years of relevant experience
  • SAP experience is preferred
