As an Access Control Security Professional at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and support a secure environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon11:00 PM - 07:30 AMTue11:00 PM - 07:30 AMFri11:00 PM - 07:30 AMSat11:00 PM - 07:30 AMSun11:00 PM - 07:30 AM What You\'ll Do: Provide customer service to associates, visitors, drivers, and vendors at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate. Monitor and control access points, verify identification and delivery credentials, issue visitor and contractor passes, and maintain accurate entry and exit records. Screen incoming and outgoing vehicles, shipments, and personnel in accordance with site procedures; report irregularities, unauthorized access attempts, and damaged barriers or equipment. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency services when needed. Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Minimum Requirements: Have at least 2 years of security-related experience. Customer service experience is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. CPR and First Aid certification is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
