Job Summary
Physical Therapist Outpatient (PT OP) Location: Not specified. This outpatient therapy role involves evaluating patients, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and ensuring functional recovery to support community reintegration. Job Details

• Certifications, Education, and Experience: Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school, CPR Certification, 6 months to 1+ year of outpatient clinical experience preferred, and a start date of 10/12/2026 with an end date of 01/11/2027.
• Schedule: 8-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Completes comprehensive patient evaluations, utilizing clinical reasoning to craft appropriate treatment plans aimed at discharge within an established length of stay.
• Maintains accurate, timely medical record documentation including goal setting, functional assessments, and billing via approved formats, adhering to state, federal, and organizational policies.
• Ensures all care is provided under signed physician orders and within insurance authorizations.
• Participates in student training programs, fostering a positive learning environment with appropriate supervision and evaluation.
• Engages in ongoing professional development through continuing education, self-study, and involvement in professional organizations.
• Adheres to state practice acts and regulatory agency standards, maintaining licensure in good standing.
• Demonstrates understanding of organizational performance improvement methods, contributing to quality enhancement initiatives.
• Upholds safety protocols including safe patient handling, infectious disease control, and slip/trip prevention.
• Completes all documentation with clarity and accuracy, complying with organizational and regulatory requirements.
