Sample Splitter (2nd Shift) - Eurofins Environment Testing - Lancaster, PA
$17.75 per hourEurofins Agroscience Services North Carolina
Full-time laboratory position performing soil sample splitting and moisture analysis using LIMS software. Role includes weighing samples, recording data, operating instrumentation, and managing sample disposal on second shift (Tuesday-Saturday, 3pm-11:30pm) at the Lancaster, PA facility.
Responsibilities
- Perform soil sample splitting following LIMS-generated protocols
- Conduct moisture checks on samples using moisture analyzer equipment
- Weigh sample masses and record data in LIMS system
- Operate instrumentation and transfer resulting data into LIMS
- Execute sample disposal procedures on various container types per LIMS schedules
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic computer skills including data entry
- Ability to work independently
- Professional English proficiency (read, write, speak)
- Authorization to work in US indefinitely without sponsorship
- Previous laboratory experience (preferred)
- Experience with instrumentation (preferred)
Compensation: $17.75 base + 10% shift differential
