Job Description
Title
Emergency Department RN - Combined Adult/Pediatric

Schedule
Patient ratio: 1:3 on all shifts
Daily census: ~40 patients

Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience required
- Charge experience required
- EPIC charting experience required
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
- Preferred: TNCC

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to a diverse patient population, including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
- Participate in emergency triage and provide general emergency care for both adults and pediatrics.
- Administer blood products and manage IV therapy, including the administration of IV vasopressors.
- Conduct dysrhythmia interpretation and management.
- Perform procedural sedation and ventilator care, including BiPAP/CPAP management.
- Implement isolation precautions and utilize personal protective equipment as needed.

Compliance / Notes
- Orientation: 48 hours
- RTO: 7 days maximum
- COVID-19 vaccine: Not required
