Registered Nurse Medical Surgical

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for the Medical Surgical unit specializing in acute medical care. The RN will provide essential patient care, ensuring safety and quality standards are met within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Administer direct patient care, including assessments, interventions, and documentation.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with medical teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  
  
• 
  Monitor patient progress and respond promptly to changes in condition.
  
  
• 
  Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety protocols, and industry standards.
  
  
• 
  Educate patients and families regarding treatments and discharge instructions.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold a valid State Nursing license as a Registered Nurse.
  
  
• 
  Possess a minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a medical-surgical setting.
  
  
• 
  Maintain current AHA BLS certification.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate proficiency in acute care nursing practices and procedures.
  
  
• 
  Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including nights, with flexibility for major and minor holidays.
  
  
• 
  Be able to work within a schedule that includes nights from 7 PM to 7 AM, Sunday through Saturday.
