Are you an experienced accounting professional who enjoys working with financial data, maintaining accuracy, and supporting sound business decisions? Join our team as an Accountant and play a key role in ensuring the integrity of financial operations while supporting the organization's continued growth and success.

In this role, you'll work with General Ledger activities, financial reconciliations, budgeting, forecasting, and payroll , while partnering with Senior Leaders and Directors to help manage financial resources responsibly.

What You'll Do:

• Prepare and enter journal entries into the General Ledger system.
• Analyze and reconcile General Ledger accounts and transactions.
• Reconcile activities between subsidiary ledgers and the General Ledger to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Support the timely and accurate month-end and year-end financial close processes.
• Ensure accounting activities comply with applicable legal regulations, accounting standards, and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) .
• Assist with financial forecasting and projecting future financial needs based on organizational initiatives and projects.
• Support Senior Leaders and Directors in the effective management of financial resources.
• Assist with the development and management of Board-approved operating and capital budgets .
• Assist with and/or process payroll functions as needed.
• Work collaboratively across departments to provide accurate financial information and support informed decision-making.
• Perform accounting responsibilities independently while working under limited supervision.

What We're Looking For:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or a related business field .

Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of experience using Workday in a healthcare business or accounting environment .
• Strong understanding of General Ledger accounting, reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting.
• Ability to analyze financial information accurately and identify discrepancies.
• Knowledge of accounting principles, regulatory requirements, and GAAP.
• Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines with limited supervision.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
