Job Description

Step into a vital role supporting students in specialized Autism and Early Years/PreK programs. We're seeking dedicated behavioral professionals interested in making a positive impact across programs designed for students with moderate to severe cognitive needs. This full-time contract position runs from August 2026 through June 2027, offering 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, all on-site.

Desired Qualifications:

  • For BCBA positions: Active BCBA certification is required; school-based experience preferred (please provide certification verification).
  • For Behavior Specialist roles: DE PARA Permit required. Ideal candidates will hold a degree, occupy a skill level between RBT and BCBA, and have experience in an ABA program or be in pursuit of BCBA certification. Previous experience in school settings and behavior support is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary school team.
  • Comfortable supporting students with significant cognitive and behavioral needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective behavioral intervention strategies tailored to individual student needs.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret behavioral data to inform practice.
  • Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to optimize student outcomes.
  • Provide in-depth support to Autism and Early Years/PreK programs, emphasizing evidence-based interventions.
  • Foster positive learning environments and encourage social, emotional, and academic growth.
