Director - Clinical Research - Peripheral Nerve Stimulation - (On-site) - Cleveland, Ohio or Minneapolis, MN

Medtronic seeks a Director of Clinical Research for Peripheral Nerve Stimulation therapies to lead global clinical evidence generation across the product lifecycle. This strategic leadership role develops and executes pre-market and post-market clinical research programs, translating evidence to support regulatory, reimbursement, and commercial objectives.

Responsibilities

• Lead global clinical evidence strategy for Peripheral Nerve Stimulation therapies across product lifecycle
• Design, execute, and oversee pre-market and post-market clinical studies meeting scientific, ethical, and regulatory standards
• Define evidence requirements addressing customer, regulatory, payer, and market access needs
• Drive evidence-generation activities including clinical trials, retrospective analyses, and meta-analyses
• Lead publication and dissemination strategies through peer-reviewed manuscripts and scientific forums

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 10+ years clinical research/medical affairs experience and 7+ years people leadership, OR advanced degree with 8+ years relevant experience and 7+ years leadership
• Experience leading global clinical research programs across pre-market and post-market studies
• Knowledge of clinical research regulations, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), and global study requirements
• Demonstrated ability developing clinical evidence strategies supporting regulatory, reimbursement, and commercial goals
• Experience managing complex projects and communicating status to senior leadership
• Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders across R&D, Regulatory, Medical Affairs, and Commercial teams
