Senior Accountant

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team. This role will be responsible for managing key accounting functions, preparing and analyzing financial information, supporting the month-end and year-end close processes, and helping ensure the accuracy and integrity of our financial records. The ideal candidate is a strong accounting professional who is comfortable working independently, enjoys solving problems, and can effectively collaborate with teams across the organization. Key Responsibilities Manage general ledger accounting activities and maintain accurate financial records. Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Lead and support the month-end and year-end closing processes. Prepare account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies. Perform analysis of balance sheet and income statement accounts. Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash management activities as needed. Prepare journal entries, accruals, and adjusting entries. Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes. Assist with audits and provide requested documentation and schedules. Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable accounting standards. Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, controls, and efficiencies. Collaborate with internal departments and provide financial information and analysis as needed. Assist with special projects and other accounting initiatives. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 5+ years of progressive accounting experience. Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and accounting principles. Experience with month-end and year-end close processes. Strong Excel skills and experience working with accounting/ERP systems. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. High attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
