Job Description SALES PROFESSIONAL, NEW YORK METRO TEAM Territory: New York Metro team to include Connecticut, New York, Long Island, New Jersey Preferred home base location : Westchester or Southern Connecticut. When You Join ARDEX, You'll Benefit From A highly respected, industry-leading product portfolio Strong technical, sales, and customer support resources An established territory with significant growth potential A collaborative culture built on teamwork, accountability, and innovation Ongoing professional development and career growth opportunities A company committed to investing in its people and building long-term careers What You'll Do Grow the Business Grow sales of ARDEX and HENRY products throughout your territory Identify and secure new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and jobsite activity Develop and execute territory sales plans and growth strategies Utilize CRM tools to track activities, opportunities, and customer engagement Build Strong Customer Partnerships Develop relationships with distributors, contractors, architects, designers, and other industry influencers Strengthen existing customer relationships while expanding market penetration Deliver exceptional customer service and responsiveness throughout the sales process Provide Technical Expertise Conduct product demonstrations, contractor clinics, and educational training programs Support contractors on jobsites with product recommendations and technical guidance Drive product specification activity within the architectural and design community Partner closely with technical, marketing, and customer support teams to provide complete customer solutions Required Experience What You’ll Bring We're seeking an energetic, self-motivated sales professional who enjoys working independently while collaborating with a larger team. Proven success in outside sales within building materials, construction products, flooring, tiling, or related industries. Experience working with flooring or tile installation systems is preferred Strong relationship-building and business development skills Technical aptitude with the ability to learn and apply product systems in real-world applications Effective presentation and communication skills, including training and demonstration experience Practical problem-solving abilities and a customer-focused approach Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a territory effectively Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, field-based sales environment Aligns with our company values; Fuel Passion, Drive Innovation, Embrace Responsibility, Embody Integrity, Build Belonging.
