Staff Accountant

Vaco is hiring for a Staff Accountant opportunity in Cincinnati, OH. Direct Hire, Onsite. Salary: $65,000–$75,000 per year. Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to support day‑to‑day accounting operations. This role will maintain accurate financial records, assist with month‑end and year‑end close processes, prepare financial reports, reconcile accounts, and ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment. Key Responsibilities Financial Reporting Prepare, analyze, and maintain accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports. Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Support management with financial analysis and reporting as needed. Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and timely. Reconcile vendor statements, customer accounts, and resolve discrepancies. Assist with collections activities and cash application processes. Maintain accounting records in accordance with established policies, procedures, and internal controls. Month‑End & Year‑End Close Support month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end closing activities. Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjusting entries. #J-18808-Ljbffr
