Warehouse Operations Supervisor

Position Summary Warehouse & Sheet Metal Operations SupervisorThe ideal candidate is a strong operational leader with experience managing teams in a fast-paced . This individual will drive productivity, support continuous improvement initiatives, and maintain a culture focused on safety, accountability, and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse operations and sheet metal fabrication activities. Ensure employees are properly trained in sheet metal fabrication techniques, equipment operation, and safety procedures. Plan and manage workflow, production schedules, and operational goals while maintaining efficiency and minimizing downtime. Quality & Continuous Improvement Promote continuous improvement initiatives including Lean principles such as 5S, Kaizen, and standardized work. Resource & Inventory Management Oversee inventory processes including raw sheet metal materials (steel, aluminum, galvanized), receiving, storage, and tracking. Safety & Compliance Promote safe operation of fabrication equipment and proper handling of sheet metal materials. Maintain a strong culture of safety awareness in both warehouse and fabrication areas. Address performance issues while maintaining a positive and productive work environment. sheet metal fabrication, manufacturing, or mechanical construction operationsStrong understanding of sheet metal processes including cutting, forming, assembly, and installation readiness. Working knowledge of Lean principles including 5S and continuous improvement practices. Experience managing manpower allocation and production productivity. Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and shop safety standards. Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with SMACNA standards and sheet metal specifications.
