Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel ICU Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Information Join a dynamic team in a fast-paced Intensive Care/Surgical Intensive Care unit with the following details: Number of Beds: 26 Number of Staff: 15 Staff Composition: Day Shift: 13 RNs, 1 Charge Nurse, 1 Patient Care Tech Night Shift: 13 RNs, 1 Charge Nurse, 1 Patient Care Tech Patient Ratios: 1:2, 1:1 for high acuity cases including post-CABG patients (estimates, not guaranteed) Type of Equipment: Balloon pumps, CRRT, Hypothermia devices, ECMO EMR: Meditech Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications: Required Skills: Minimum of 1 year of current acute care hospital ICU experience ACLS, BLS, and NIH certification Preferred Skills: TNCC certification Previous experience traveling to large trauma facilities Typical Procedures Healthcare professionals in this unit will be involved in a variety of procedures including: Caring for trauma patients Post-CABG recovery Post-TAVR recovery General post-surgical ICU care Management of chest tubes and central lines Administering medication drips Best Personality Fit We are looking for individuals who are: Driven Organized Efficient Possess a positive attitude and are engaged with their work Additional Information This is an excellent opportunity for those seeking to work in a competitive environment with access to advanced technology and equipment.
