Key Responsibilities

In your role as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop personalized treatment plans for couples and families.
• Facilitate therapy sessions with couples, while also providing individual sessions to each partner, using evidence-based practices to address their unique challenges.
• Specialize in therapeutic interventions for diverse issues affecting families, including but not limited to:
• Alcohol and substance abuse concerns.
• Physical and psychological abuse cases.
• Grief and loss complications.
• Familial conflicts, sibling rivalry, and communication problems.
• Medical issues and their impact on family dynamics.
• Adjustment challenges related to separation, divorce, or blended family situations.
• Job-related stress and its effects on family life.
• Document patient progress meticulously and adjust treatment plans based on ongoing assessments.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position primarily focuses on working with couples and families, ranging from adults to adolescent populations. You will be instrumental in helping clients navigate through complex relational dynamics and personal hardships, using therapeutic techniques tailored to each unique situation. Your expertise will play a crucial role in enhancing their emotional and mental well-being.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• An active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related mental health field.

Compensation and Benefits
