School Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) - North Fort Myers, Florida

Exciting opportunities are available for caring and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist Assistants (SLPAs) to support student communication growth in the greater North Fort Myers area. This contract role is perfect for those passionate about making a direct impact on young learners' lives. Multiple assignments are available across several elementary and middle school campuses, providing a chance to work with a dynamic age range and collaborative educational teams.


As an SLPA, you will work onsite (VOCO/remote is not an option) alongside licensed Speech-Language Pathologists, serving caseloads of 50-55 students and positively shaping their educational experience. Both full-time (up to 37.5 hours/week) and potential part-time schedules can be considered, running from August 11, 2026, through May 27, 2027.


Desired Qualifications:

• Current, active FL DOH Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant license
• Previous experience in school settings preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
• Willingness to travel between assigned schools within North Fort Myers and the surrounding area
• Prompt completion of required fingerprinting and eligibility verification (including AHCA Clearinghouse and/or JLA badge procedures)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct support to students under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
• Assist in implementing speech and language interventions and support plans
• Collect data and document student progress as required
• Collaborate with educators, families, and school multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain compliance with all district and state regulations
