Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Multiple full-time and part-time opportunities are now available in the Fort Myers area for the upcoming academic year, beginning August 11, 2026, and concluding May 27, 2027. With options to work across several elementary and middle school campuses, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting students’ communication growth and academic success.

What We’re Looking For:

• Current and active Florida Department of Health SLPA license required
• School-based SLPA experience is desired, especially with caseloads of 50-55 students
• Commitment to on-site service—these roles are not open to virtual or telehealth providers
• Flexibility to work in multiple school locations as assigned
• Strong organizational skills and ability to adapt to different school environments

Your Daily Impact:

• Support the delivery of speech and language services under the direction of licensed Speech Language Pathologists
• Assist with implementing treatment plans and communication interventions for students in elementary and middle grades
• Collect data on student progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in team meetings when needed
• Help facilitate communication and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
• Travel between assigned schools may be involved

Additional Details:

• Full-time positions offer up to 37.5 hours weekly, with options for part-time if needed
• SLPAs will be responsible for completing fingerprinting; if you have prior prints in the AHCA Clearinghouse, verification or updates may expedite your start. JLA badge transfer is possible for those already cleared in Florida.
• Caseloads are typically 50-55 students per SLPA
