Job Details Employment Type: Travel RN Specialty: Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) Location: Columbus, Ohio 43210 Start Date: 10/05/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night shift, 3x12-hour schedule (19:00 - 07:30) Shift Duration: 12 hours Hours Per Week: 36 Weekend Coverage: Required, with rotating holidays Float Requirement: May float to equivalent or lower-acuity units within the organization as needed Patient Ratio: 1:1-2 Orientation: 36 hours Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,940 - $2,040 Job Requirements Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in hand at time of submission At least 1 year of nursing experience required; 2 years of cardiac ICU or CVICU experience preferred BLS and ACLS required Epic charting experience required Strong critical care background preferred in a high-acuity ICU or cardiovascular intensive care setting Experience with ventilators, telemetry, hemodynamic monitoring, and vasoactive drips preferred Previous travel nursing experience is a plus Ability to work rotating weekends and holidays Responsibilities Provide expert bedside care for complex cardiovascular ICU patients Monitor and interpret hemodynamic data, dysrhythmias, and critical changes in patient status Support patients recovering from CABG, valve repair/replacement, TAVR, transplant, ECMO, VAD, and other advanced cardiac procedures Manage ventilators, Swan Ganz catheters, arterial lines, IV drips, and other advanced ICU equipment Administer medications, titrate vasoactive and cardiac drips, and perform frequent reassessments Collaborate closely with physicians, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, and other interdisciplinary healthcare team members Float within the organization as needed to support patient care at a similar or lower acuity level Maintain accurate documentation in Epic and uphold safe, compassionate, high-quality patient care standards Why Join This Travel Nursing Opportunity?
