Position Title: Clerk Specialist, Grade C Position Number: 899843 Position Category: Staff School/Division: Library Operations Full-Time or Part-Time: Full-Time Description: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Assists with daily work of the unit (sorting, re-shelving, floor sweep, dehumidifier checks, etc.). Assists with ongoing collection inventory. Assists with shifting projects and preparation of new range card labels. Assists with other units as needed for special projects or high-priority tasks. Occasionally provides coverage at service points (Circulation, Periodicals). May perform other assigned duties not specifically identified above but which require the same degree of skills normally included within the above job title. Qualifications: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook required. Familiarity with library operations and procedures Ability to stand/walk for an extended period of time, bend, and lift up to 25 pounds Ability to push loaded book carts and shift shelves of books. Strong interpersonal skills.
