Preconstruction Manager

Position Title: Senior Preconstruction Manager Department: Preconstruction Position Summary The Senior Preconstruction Manager will lead preconstruction activities, oversee estimating processes, and collaborate with project teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure successful project planning and execution. This role provides leadership, technical guidance, and support throughout the preconstruction phase while ensuring accurate estimates, cost analysis, and project readiness. Key Responsibilities Manage and mentor estimating and preconstruction team members. Oversee estimates, budgets, scopes, qualifications, and cost analysis. Coordinate with project executives, operations teams, subcontractors, and vendors. Prepare conceptual and schematic estimates. Review construction drawings, specifications, and project requirements. Support value engineering, constructability reviews, and project planning. Monitor market conditions and maintain subcontractor relationships. Participate in preconstruction meetings and ensure accurate documentation. Support project buyout activities and provide guidance to field teams. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, or related field preferred. 10–15 years of construction management or preconstruction experience. Strong knowledge of estimating, budgeting, and construction processes. Proficiency with Bluebeam, Microsoft Excel, and On-Screen Takeoff.
