Office Accounting Clerk

Job Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Clerk with Reconciliations and Accounting experience in Pasadena, CA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in reconciling financial records, handling accounting tasks, and ensuring the accuracy of financial transactions. This position requires a keen eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in computers, especially advanced Excel, is a crucial requirement for this role. Base Pay Range $22.00/yr - $24.00/yr Responsibilities Conduct daily, monthly, and yearly reconciliations of financial records to ensure accuracy. Investigate and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner. Collaborate with various departments to obtain necessary information for reconciliations. Assist in the preparation and maintenance of financial reports. Handle routine accounting tasks, including data entry, coding, and filing. Utilize advanced Excel functions for data analysis and reporting. Work closely with the accounting team to support month-end and year-end closing processes. Maintain organized and accurate financial records. Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant accounting standards. Prepare and update documentation related to reconciliation procedures. Communicate effectively with internal teams and external parties to gather necessary information for reconciliation processes. Provide clear and concise updates on reconciliation status to supervisors and team members. Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements in reconciliation and accounting procedures. Implement best practices to streamline workflows and enhance accuracy. Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred. Experience: Proven experience in reconciliations and accounting roles; familiarity with accounting software and financial systems. Skills: Strong attention to detail and accuracy; excellent organizational and time‑management abilities; effective communication and interpersonal skills; proficient in computers, especially advanced Excel; team player; ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
