Summary
The Microsoft Technology Account Lead (MTAL) is responsible for building trusted client account relationships with Accenture and Microsoft stakeholders as well as clients themselves, whilst leading sales, revenue, delivery, and client satisfaction for Microsoft focused deliverables.
As the Microsoft lead, the MTAL will work closely with Accenture Account Leadership to create, own, execute and maintain the plan for strategic business growth on the Microsoft platform across one or more accounts within a client industry sector.

This is a hybrid role that requires travel up to 75% to support client engagements and business development activities. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship, as sponsorship is not available for this position.

The GTM Lead, AMBG is responsible for accelerating growth through Avanade's strategic partnership with Accenture and Microsoft. This individual will drive joint go-to-market planning, pipeline development, and sales execution for the Security practice, helping shape and win transformational opportunities across the U.S. market.

Acting as a trusted leader across organizational boundaries, the GTM Lead aligns Avanade, Accenture, and Microsoft stakeholders around shared business objectives, AI-led solutions, and client outcomes. This role plays a critical part in expanding indirect-channel revenue, increasing co-sell success, and strengthening Avanade's market presence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead joint go-to-market strategy and execution with Accenture and Microsoft for Avanade Security.
• Build, manage, and drive a healthy pipeline of indirect-channel opportunities that contribute to sales and revenue growth.
• Develop strategic relationships with senior stakeholders across Avanade, Accenture, and Microsoft.
• Shape and support complex pursuits from qualification through deal closure, ensuring alignment across all parties.
• Drive Microsoft co-sell motions and AI-led solution positioning within strategic opportunities.
• Identify and mitigate channel conflicts, commercial risks, and partnership barriers.
• Collaborate with security, sales, solutioning, and industry teams to maximize multi-service-area opportunities.
• Provide leadership and direction to pre-sales and technical resources supporting key pursuits.

You have:

• Proven business development, alliance, or GTM leadership experience within a consulting, systems integration, or technology services organization.
• Experience working within the Microsoft ecosystem and driving partner-led sales motions.
• Strong executive relationship management and stakeholder influence skills.
• Track record of growing pipeline, revenue, and strategic partnerships.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity, cloud, AI, and digital transformation services.
• Ability to navigate complex matrix organizations and align diverse teams toward common goals.

What you’ll do

• Lead from the front line of sales. Partner directly with clients and account leaders to scope, shape, and win high-value opportunities — bringing clarity, creativity, and momentum to every pursuit.
• Be the connective tissue of the deal. Orchestrate the people, assets, and decisions that move a pursuit forward, ensuring pursuit teams have exactly what they need, exactly when they need it.
• Shape how we sell. Design the playbooks, differentiators, and cross-sell motions that give our sellers an edge — and continuously raise the bar on how Avanade competes and wins.
• Influence our offerings and go-to-market. Bring the voice of the client and the market back into the business, helping evolve our solutions, industry plays, and territory strategy so we stay ahead of where demand is heading.
• Own the growth picture. Drive account planning, territory analysis, pipeline health, and revenue forecasting that leadership relies on to make the big calls.
• Champion selling excellence. Embed best-in-class pursuit discipline (DEEPR) and enablement tools so every team operates at the top of its game.
• Spot the next opportunity first. Anticipate shifting client and market needs and proactively reshape how we engage — staying one step ahead of expectations.
