RN-Registered Nurse // ED - Emergency Department – $1,246 weekly stipends, $18/hour, $648 weekly base pay. Onsite Contract. Starts 7/13/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Location Concord North, NC 28025 Shift Details Night Shift 12 hours/day, 3 days/week. Shift time: 1900‑0700. Facility Overview 457 licensed beds Trauma Level III Teaching Hospital Chest Pain Center Stroke Center of Excellence Bariatric Center of Excellence Radius rule: Traveler's permanent address must be 50 miles outside of home unit Unit Information Minimum Years of Experience required? ED RN: 2 years ED experience (Resource Team). Will you accept a first‑time traveler? Not preferred but will consider (Resource Team). Patient Types / Common Diagnoses Trauma level 3 – GSW, Stabbing, MVA, Falls, Stroke, Heart Failure, Chest pain, patient requiring fluid resuscitation/blood products, COPD, Cardiac Cath pre, ETOH/CIWA, IVDA, mental health, Respiratory illnesses, GI disorders & infections, Liver Failure, AKI/CKD Patient Ratios RN: 1:5 max (acuity dependent) Required Licenses & Certifications ED RN: Required – BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, CPI; Preferred – TNCC. Skills Required Trauma experience, Stroke experience, cardiac rhythm interpretation, conscious sedation, PIV starts, chest tube management, NGT placement, drain/tube management, critical care drips, blood administration, etc. Support within the Department CNA – ratios vary Receptionist/HUC Charge nurse, 24/7 – may or may not have patients IV/VAT Team RT, 24/7 Hospitalist, 24/7 ED Physicians Technology / Equipment EMR: EPIC IV Pump: Alaris Med dispensing: Omnicell Monitors: Phillips Floating Required to float per region needs to all facilities listed within scope of practice – DECLINE if not agreeable. Region 1: Cabarrus, University City, Stanly, any Freestanding ED within Region, Lake Norman, Central Division (CMC Main + Mercy + LCH). If floating mid‑shift, Traveler will be paid for the time traveling between facilities (will remain on the clock).
