Procurement Contract Specialist (F2810921-AP) Washington, District of Columbia Senior Procurement & Contracts Specialist Position Overview A large and well-established organization is seeking an experienced Senior Procurement & Contracts Specialist to support complex sourcing, contracting, and vendor management activities. This role is ideal for a seasoned procurement professional who has managed the full contract lifecycle and enjoys working in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment. Responsibilities Manage complex procurements from solicitation through contract closeout. Develop and review statements of work, solicitation packages, and procurement documentation. Conduct market research and vendor evaluations. Lead contract negotiations and manage vendor communications. Review bids and proposals for compliance, pricing, and responsiveness. Administer awarded contracts, including modifications, performance monitoring, and closeout activities. Ensure adherence to procurement policies, regulations, and internal controls. Resolve contract disputes, issues, and vendor performance concerns. Partner with internal stakeholders to support procurement planning and project execution. Maintain accurate contract records and procurement documentation. Qualifications 10+ years of procurement, sourcing, or contract administration experience. Experience managing the full procurement lifecycle from acquisition planning through closeout. Strong understanding of contract negotiations, solicitation processes, and vendor management. Experience supporting both commercial and/or government contracting environments. Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills. Bachelor's degree required Professional procurement or contract management certifications. Experience with complex, high-value procurements. Background supporting regulated organizations.
