Senior Maintenance Technician

Our client, a leading commercial property management organization, is seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Senior Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Facilities Support team supporting building operations and tenant satisfaction. The ideal candidate will demonstrate technical expertise, proactive problem-solving skills, and a customer-focused attitude, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Senior Maintenance Technician Location: Clinton Township, NJ Pay: $35-$38 What's the Job? Perform skilled repairs and preventative maintenance on complex HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems within commercial properties. Conduct proactive building inspections to identify and address maintenance needs before issues escalate. Operate and troubleshoot Building Management Systems (BMS) to optimize building performance. Ensure full compliance with safety regulations, including LOTO procedures, working at heights, confined space entry, and arc flash safety. Respond promptly to tenant concerns, delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining high satisfaction levels. What's Needed? High school diploma or GED with at least five years of HVAC/electrical facility-related experience. Comprehensive knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, electrical work, plumbing, and building control systems. Strong understanding of safety protocols including LOTO, working at heights, confined space, and arc flash requirements. Physical ability to perform demanding maintenance tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs and operating lifts. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on customer service.
