Accounting Administrator

We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Accounting Administrator to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a candidate who brings strong accounting fundamentals, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is eager to take ownership of daily financial operations. You will play a critical role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end close, and ensuring timely processing of transactions. Responsibilities

• Process Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) transactions accurately and on schedule
• Conduct past-due collections with professionalism and clear communication
• Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards
• Prepare and submit invoices; monitor outstanding balances
• Provide general administrative support, including filing, document management, and responding to internal and external inquiries
• Update and maintain accounting databases and internal financial systems
• Review internal reports for accuracy and follow up on discrepancies
• Collaborate effectively with management, clients, and vendors

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in AP/AR or bookkeeping
• 2+ years of experience with QuickBooks (required)
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through
• Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently as well as part of a team
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities

Preferred Qualifications (Not Required but a Plus)

• Experience with additional accounting platforms
• Prior month-end closing exposure
• Collections experience in a professional services environment
