Pharmacy Technician - Monon, Indiana

Job Description

Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An exciting opportunity is available for licensed Pharmacy Technicians to support a community pharmacy in Indiana. This contract role offers a consistent schedule with the chance to contribute to a well-established retail pharmacy team serving the local community.

Location:

Monon, IN (Pulaski Memorial Hospital Community Pharmacy)
Potential coverage at a sister site in Francesville, IN, after training

Schedule/Hours:

40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Every other Saturday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

Perform order entry accurately using the PioneerRx system (experience preferred)
Assist customers by ringing up prescriptions and processing transactions
Collaborate closely with the Pharmacy Manager, pharmacist, and technician team
Provide coverage for the sister pharmacy location once fully trained and credentialed

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Valid Indiana Pharmacy Technician license required
Previous retail pharmacy experience is essential
PTCB certification required for coverage at the sister site in Francesville
Ability to complete 3 days of training and orientation prior to start
Business casual dress code adherence
Local candidates preferred due to onsite training and coverage needs
