Executive Director of Development

The Executive Development Director is responsible for leading and overseeing the organization’s fundraising and development efforts. This includes managing donor relations, coordinating fundraising campaigns, overseeing grant acquisition and management, and strengthening community partnerships. The Development Director will supervise the Grants Manager and other fundraising staff to ensure alignment with the organization's financial and programmatic goals. Additionally, this role will lead and implement capital campaigns to support major funding initiatives. Required Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent. Working knowledge of charitable giving vehicles. Foundation, corporate and government grant writing expertise. Excellent Written, interpersonal and verbal communication skills. Preferred Certified Fund-Raising Executive (CFRE) or equivalent credential. Experience working with nonprofit boards and community leaders. Knowledge of financial management related to fundraising, including budgeting and compliance. Ability to create and execute successful capital campaigns. Familiarity with social media and digital fundraising strategies.
