Senior Paid Media Specialist

OverviewTheShopper MarketingSenior Specialistwill play a key role in the planning, developmentandproject managementfor allShopper Marketingand Retail Mediaefforts at Sprouts. The position will lead the efforts on Sprouts’Shopper Marketingautomation tool(portal),be accountable forcampaignexecutional detailsas well as provide critical operational support that will ladder up to the overall financial health of the Sprouts business. While this rolewill primarily own the project managementelementsof theShopper Marketingand Retail Mediaactivations, this individual will also lean in where possible toassistin continuing to build external vendor relationships as well as internal ones throughout the marketing and merchandising teams. This individual will alsohave the opportunity tohone their strategic skill sets (ex. assisting in yearly planning) bridging ideas to executions, all whilemaintaininga highly organized and detailed approach.  Theywill gain an understanding of the multi-faceted areas in Sales & Marketing thatare required tosupport a leading, national grocery company. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the organization while gaining hands-on experience working with cross-functional teams, agencypartnersand vendors.Overview of ResponsibilitiesAssistin thedevelopment, execution, and measurement ofShopper Marketingand Retail Mediaprograms thatseekto drive awareness, trial, and conversion for our vendors but drive traffic and grow baskets for Sprouts.ProjectmanageShopper Marketingand Retail Mediacampaigns, as well asa la carte initiatives frominceptionto reporting to billing.Develop key relationshipsand in some cases act as the liaison between Sprouts’ vendors, internal marketing teammembersand merchandise team members. Support inour efforts with marketing’s annual vendor planning process and key meetings with internal stakeholders.Development of Best-in-Class and breakthrough solutions,leveragingcustomer insights.Understand,maintainand communicate strict timelines while working with cross-functional teams.Assistin the management of agency partners. Own the process andfunctionalityof our internalShopper Marketingportal as well as our marketing team project management system (Asana).#LI-CS1QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Marketing or Businessor closely related field.5+years experiencein a marketing related role either internally at a company or at an advertising agency, preferably direct experience with paid media.Exceptional critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and communication skills (both written and verbal).A clear ability to connect the dots and proactively provide solutions and opportunities outside of the “usual”.Inquisitive mindset and awillingness to step beyond the comfort zone andestablish(not just work within) best-in-class standards.Excellent relationship-building skills and a natural like of people.A proficiencyand technical ability in using computer and software systems including MS Office Suite and project management software (AsanaorClickupexperience is a plus).History with working against clear KPIs and success metrics.Resourcefuland self-motivated approach to work, with an interest in learning and growing.
