Biology Instructor Pool-Part-Time (Anatomy & Physiology)

This is a continuous recruitment to fill part-time, and temporary faculty assignments on an as-needed basis. When the need to fill arises, the department will refer to this pool of part-time faculty. Courses to teach may include: Biology 210 – Anatomy & Physiology, Biology 231 – General Human Anatomy, Biology 241 – General Human Physiology.

The award of all degrees must be verifiable on a legible transcript. If degree award date is not posted on transcript your application will be deemed incomplete and removed from consideration. Grade cards will not be accepted in lieu of transcripts. All degrees and course work used to satisfy the required minimum qualifications must be submitted and from accredited postsecondary institutions. Master's in any biological science OR Bachelor's in any biological science AND Master's in biochemistry, biophysics, or marine science OR Possess a valid California teaching credential authorizing service in a community college in the appropriate subject matter area; OR the equivalent. Equivalent qualifications may include related education, training, employment and professional experience that would be equal to the required degree(s) and experience in this field as determined by the District Equivalency Committee.
